Plain cream cheese
  • 4 sheets of filo pastry
  • 180 g smoked salmon
  • 150 g Alsace Lait plain cream cheese spread
  • 20 g butter
  • 1 teaspoon pink peppercorns
  • 1 lime
  • 2 sprigs of dill

Preparation

  1. Melt the butter in the microwave.
  2. Cut 9 small squares from each sheet of filo pastry and brush them with butter.
  3. Place them in small silicone moulds, overlapping 2 layers at a time.
  4. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 5 minutes. Leave to cool, then carefully remove the nests from the moulds.
  5. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the Alsace Lait plain cream cheese with the zest and a little lime juice. 
  6. Cut the salmon into small cubes.
  7. Top your filo pastry nests with the cream cheese and salmon.
  8. Garnish with dill and a few pink peppercorns.
