Delicacy and pleasure for the senses

In October 2021, the Alsace Lait Cooperative acquired the Quebec dairy Chalifoux, which markets its products under the Maison Riviera brand. Six years after entering into partnership with the Quebec manufacturer, with its plant is based in Sorel-Tracy, near Montreal, the Alsace Lait Cooperative became the majority shareholder.

Founded in 1920, the Chalifoux dairy employs nearly 170 people and makes cheese, yoghurt, butter, kefir and cream.
