Alsace Lait will now be displayed on the front of the football shirt of Racing's women's team, which this season is playing in the Arkema Premier League for the first time in its history. The trip to Guingamp, this Saturday, will be the first opportunity for the team coached by Vincent Nogueira to sport the Alsatian cooperative's logo. From this year, every one of the team's matches will be broadcast on a national channel (FFF TV and Canal Plus), providing high visibility for the promotion of Alsatian know-how.
The cooperative, founded in 1979 – the year that Racing won its only French championship title – will also feature on the shirts of all the Strasbourg club's youth teams. Alsace Lait will therefore enjoy excellent exposure at every match played by the club's youngsters, from the U9s to U13s, who travel throughout the Alsace region at weekends.
Alsace Lait and Racing are also reinforcing their commitment to young people and families in Alsace by offering gourmet events on match nights at the Stade de la Meinau and nutrition workshops during the Alsace Racing Tour.
"Alsace Lait enthusiastically supports Racing, the leading light of sport in Alsace" explains Philippe Bernhard, Chairman of Alsace Lait. "This partnership reflects our shared values of collective commitment and our attachment to the region. We are proud to help promote women's sport through the RCSA women's team, youth sport and amateur football".
"We are particularly proud that Alsace Lait, a well-known regional company, is committed to supporting our women's team and the youngsters at the Racing Mutest Académie" says Marc Keller, Chairman of Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace. "This partnership is highly symbolic because training young talent – envoys of our values -– has always been a priority for Racing".
