A new stage for the cooperative
On Thursday, 3 July, we laid the foundation stone of our future refrigerated depot, in the presence of our elected and financial partners.
This new 7700 m² facility will open in the first quarter of 2026 and house over 6500 pallets in positive refrigeration.
Designed to keep pace with rising production while remaining true to our local roots, this13 million Euro project embodies our desire to modernise our logistics, without ever moving away from our local area.
It is fully in line with our cooperative's development drive.
In 4 years:
- Alsace Lait's workforce has grown from 270 to 375 employees.
- Production volume increased from 74,000 to 110,000 tonnes.
- Sales rose from 105 to 203 million Euro.
To mark the occasion, pastries were distributed to all our employees as a thank you for their daily commitment.
